Marco Camisani Calzolari is an internationally recognized strategist in ethical artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital governance. He advises senior government officials, CEOs, and institutional leaders on high-impact decisions related to AI risk, digital transformation, public trust, and reputational resilience in regulated and high-visibility environments.
A government-appointed expert to the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) and member of the Prime Minister’s National AI Strategy Committee, he contributes to shaping Italy’s AI governance framework and European approaches to systemic AI risk, including collaboration with the European Commission on the General-Purpose AI Code of Practice.
Operating at the intersection of technology, governance, and constitutional responsibility, he translates complex technological risks into actionable decision frameworks that protect democratic infrastructures and strengthen public trust.
He is Adjunct Professor at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan), senior contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore, and author of Cyberhumanism (2024). A leading European voice on AI governance, misinformation, cybersecurity, and digital ethics, he has delivered more than 500 keynote addresses internationally, including engagements at the UK House of Lords and the United Nations.
