Dear Distinguished Participants, Dear World Changers.
Dear Distinguished Participants, Dear World Changers.
Some gatherings conclude when we leave the room. Others continue through the relationships they create, the ideas they awaken and the responsibility they inspire.
Our encounter at “Multiverse of Trust in the Quantum Age,” held at the Casina Pio IV, Vatican City, on 22 October 2026, belongs to this second kind.
On behalf of IASC and World Changers, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your presence, insights and generosity brought life to a shared conviction: humanity must remain at the centre of the future we are building. At a time of profound technological transformation, trust, conscience and human dignity must guide our choices.
We express our sincere appreciation to the Italian Government and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who designated Senator Alessio Butti, Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition, to represent the Government at our gathering. His inspiring address strengthened our determination to advance the Post-Quantum Constitution and the Spirit of Quantum platform, encouraging us to pursue this international endeavour for the betterment of humanity.
We are particularly grateful to the Holy See, the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and the entire team at the Casina Pio IV, whose exceptional support, care and organizational dedication made this encounter possible. As we mark our fifth year of convening in the Vatican, we deeply value the hospitality that has allowed this initiative to grow in purpose, reach and service to the wider world. We extend our special thanks to His Eminence Cardinal Turkson, Chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and the Reverend Monsignor Viganò, Vice Chancellor, together with all those whose work behind the scenes gave our guests such a warm welcome.
Our profound gratitude goes to His Excellency the Most Reverend Monsignor Staglianò, President of the Pontifical Academy of Theology, whose substantial intellectual and spiritual guidance has contributed so meaningfully to the Post-Quantum Constitution and the Multiverse of Trust. His sapiential perspective continues to deepen our reflection on the relationship between technological progress, conscience and human flourishing.
We remain deeply grateful to His Eminence Cardinal Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See, for his guidance and benevolence, which we receive with sincere appreciation and a renewed sense of responsibility.
To our speakers, supporters, donors, institutional partners and dedicated team: thank you. Whether through knowledge, resources, service or encouragement, each of you helped turn a vision into an encounter with purpose. The true measure of this gathering will be found in what we now undertake together.
To carry this work forward, we are preparing a final document bringing together the principal reflections and outcomes, which will be sent to all participants. We are also organizing the video recordings and compiling the press releases and media coverage into a dedicated press book. A special edition of World Changers Magazine, featuring all participants, will preserve the voices, contributions and memorable moments that shaped this occasion.
These publications will serve as a record of our gathering and an invitation to continue its work through concrete cooperation.
IASC is a nonprofit organization working for the betterment of the world and society, in communion with the Holy Church and in a spirit of fraternity, dialogue and cooperation with spiritual leaders across the world. Our mission draws strength from those who offer their time, knowledge, resources and trust in service to humanity and our Common House.
With humility and devotion, we place our work at the service of the Holy Father and all humankind, seeking to be of practical help to our beloved Church and to the entire human family, across faiths, cultures and borders.
My heartfelt gratitude also goes to the entire IASC team and our Board members, whose vision, support and dedication made this gathering possible. Behind every meaningful encounter are people who give their time, talent and care, often quietly and beyond what is asked of them.
We believe that progress finds its deepest meaning when it strengthens our capacity to care for one another; that innovation carries a responsibility towards the vulnerable; and that human flourishing must become a shared horizon, accessible across generations.
As we look ahead to Spirit of Quantum, we carry forward the spirit of this encounter: the courage to imagine, the wisdom to discern and the determination to act. May the connections formed in Vatican City grow into lasting collaborations, and may our shared commitment help shape a future in which technological possibility is matched by human wisdom.
Thank you for walking this path with us. The next chapter begins with what we choose to build together.
With sincere gratitude and warm regards,
Prof. Gabriele Pao-Pei Andreoli
