Lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana. Guest lecturer for many Universities and Research Institutes both in Albania and abroad, including: University of Pavia-Italy, LMU-Germany, Comenius University-Slovakia, Otzenhausen Academy-Germany and counting. Graduated in Finance-Economics with excellent results, with a second Master in Business Law. During his Master’s studies, he was a scholarship holder of one of the largest German organizations, KAS (Konrad Adenauer Stiftung).

A prominent figure since 2017 in the Albanian media with a significant contribution to journalism and moderation, broadcasted on television, radio, newspapers, and online media. Currently a freelance journalist and analyst contracted by multiple national media, such as Ora TV, News24 TV, Gazeta Shqiptare newspaper, etc. Furthermore, an active collaborator with other international media: ZDF and NTV (Germany).

For more than 2 years (2017-2019) he ran his TV show “Corner of Excellence”, on the most-watched information-based television in Albania, News24, which consisted of a wide range of discussions related to public and especially political events. Since 2020 he is part of the European Network of Professional Journalists, where he represents Albania; a network that focuses on identification and combat of fake news, disinformation, journalists’ rights and more.

Mr. Tola was among the first 15 European youth selected by USAID, NDI, and IRI to create EDYN – European Democracy Youth Network (the largest European youth network, covering over 23 European countries). He was on the EDYN’s Leadership Council and part of the Communication Committee for some years. Also, project manager and consultant for many projects and studies focused on youth, media, entrepreneurship, and the labor market. Meanwhile, serious partner and collaborator with many international NGOs and institutions: KAS, USAID, RYCO, IRI, RCC, and NDI.

Previously, he has served for a year as close staff of the Vice-Minister of Education and later for the Minister of Health of Albania?. Currently he is collaborating since 2022, with Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr. Dritan Abazovic in relation to the consultation for the absorption of foreign investments, the development of entrepreneurship, etc.

Lastly, Mr. Tola is the co-founder and Executive Director of an NGO called PRIN (Albanian Youth Policy Center), built on 2 main pillars: increasing the engagement and responsibility of the youth, and raising risk-awareness of disseminating misinformation, fake news and similar issues, mainly through social media to operate closer to its target group.
