Antonino Galloni

The economist Antonino Galloni is going to be a speaker at the “World Changers Summit 2023”, sharing more than 40 years of experience as a publisher of numerous books, numerous essays, articles in specialized journals, and several books on Italian economic history.

As a university professor at prestigious universities in Italy between the 80s and 90s, he held positions as a state official with the aim of contributing to a change in the country’s economy. Among the many publications is How Italy Was Sold Off (Byoblu Edizioni, 2020).

Born in Rome on March 17, 1953, he graduated in law in December 1975 and became a researcher at the University of Berkeley (California) in 1979. He collaborated with Prof. Federico Caffè of the Faculty of Economics and Commerce of the University of Rome between 1981 and 1986. From 1990, director generals at the Ministry of Labor for Cooperation, the Observatory on the Labor Market, Youth Employment Policies, and the Extraordinary Redundancy Fund in large companies Subsequently, he taught at the Catholic University of Milan, at the University of Modena, at L.U.I.S.S., and at the University of Rome until 1999.

After various roles within the ministries of economy and labor, he became general manager at the Ministry of Budget, statutory auditor of INPDAP from 2002 to 2010, and is currently a statutory member of the INPS Board of Auditors. Among other duties, he held the roles of Board Director of FINTEX Corporation (Houston, USA), Director of Agip Coal, and Director of Nuova SATIN; finally, he directed an Italian economic mission to Madagascar and was a member of an ad hoc group of the OECD.

Antonino Galloni will be a speaker at the “World Changers Summit 2023”, which will be held on July 5th at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in Vatican City.
