Raffaella Carnevale
IASC World Changers H. Ambassador
Ambassador Raffaella Carnevale was born into a distinguished family that profoundly influenced the path of her life — a father, an esteemed historian, and a mother, a visionary entrepreneur in haute couture. This heritage naturally merged an entrepreneurial spirit with a deep passion for culture, art, and history.
A graduate in Economics and Fashion Design from the Istituto Marangoni, Ambassador Carnevale refined her sense of cultural entrepreneurship through formative experiences at Gandini Tessuti Alta Moda, Gianfranco Ferré, Hitotchu Corporation (Tokyo), and Gruppo Industriale Caimi S.p.A. These roles allowed her to develop extensive international relations and an intercultural perspective through her travels across the world.
Her collaboration with her mother in managing public relations for clients in Saudi Arabia—notably serving members of the Al Saud Royal Family and other prominent families in Riyadh and Jeddah—offered her a unique opportunity to cultivate bridges of dialogue and understanding between Italy and the Middle East.
From 2000 to 2018, as Managing Director of Modo Milano, Ambassador Carnevale became a pioneer of Italianeità, emerging as one of the most influential figures in the field of luxury interior design and brand development across the Middle East and globally. Her leadership, dedication, and refined aesthetic vision positioned her among the most respected ambassadors of Italian excellence worldwide.
Her success has been guided by empathy, curiosity, and a profound respect for diverse cultures and traditions—values that continue to inspire her work in promoting Italian culture, design, fashion, and art on the international stage. This lifelong commitment has earned her multiple recognitions, including her appointment as Officer of the Order of the Star of Italy, one of the nation’s highest honours.
Today, through her company We Bridge Consulting, Ambassador Carnevale continues to embody her vision:
“Bridging cultures, fostering understanding and empathy, and promoting collaboration among people from diverse cultural backgrounds by identifying common ground, shared values, and collective goals—thus building a more inclusive, harmonious, and peaceful world.”
